Emma Choy has worked as an actor and producer in Australia, Ireland, the UK and Jordan. Her film and television highlights include Speed Dating (Buena Vista Films), The Shooting of Thomas Hurndall (Ch 4 Talkback Thames), Casualty (BBC) and Doctors (BBC). Emma has enjoyed performing in many stage productions including the cult West End hit: Saucy Jack & the Space Vixens, The Seagull (Greenwich Theatre), The City Club (Edinburgh Fringe Festival) and the 2017 sold-out hit Melbourne Fringe show Tea with Chekhov.

Emma has co-founded three theatre companies and also works as one of the Festival Directors for Melbourne’s Poppy Seed Theatre Festival which provides artistic, financial and logistical support to independent theatre makers. Her training began in the early 90s after she won a scholarship to St Martin’s Youth Theatre, from there she went on to study at WAAPA. Emma continues to train under Howard Fine and his faculty at the Howard Fine Acting Studio where she also works as a Project Development Manager.
